The vdp regularly publishes the aggregated data of all German Pfandbrief Banks pursuant to the requirements of § 28 of the Pfandbrief Act. § 28 of the Pfandbrief Act requires that all Pfandbrief Banks publish details of the composition of their respective cover pools for Mortgage, Public and Ship Pfandbriefe. The wording of the entire Pfandbrief Act (unofficial translation) can be found here. These stringent criteria enable investors to screen the composition of each cover pool of every Pfandbrief issuer on a quarterly basis. Specifically, the reports contain the following data: - § 28 para. 1 Nos. 1-3: Pfandbrief volume outstanding and the corresponding cover pools
- § 28 para. 2 No. 1a): Cover loans for Mortgage Pfandbriefe according to amount classes
- § 28 para. 2 No. 1b): Cover loans for Mortgage Pfandbriefe according to States in which the real property collateral is located
- § 28 para. 2 No. 1c): Cover loans for Mortgage Pfandbriefe according to property types financed
- § 28 para. 2 No. 2: Total amount of payments in arrears for mortgage loans in cover
- § 28 para. 3 No. 1: Cover loans for Public Pfandbriefe according to borrowers legal residence
- § 28 para. 3 No. 2: Total amount of payments in arrears for claims used to cover Public Pfandbriefe
- § 28 para. 4 No. 1: Cover loans for Ship Pfandbriefe according to amount classes and States in which the ships used as collateral are registered.
